Jan. 1, 1984 (honorary birthday) born in Southern California, don't know the details. Somehow ended up at "Casa De Pets" in Studio City and was christened "Nicky"...

June, 1984 Spotted by Rick Glassey, an exotic animal trainer working with hippie magician Doug Henning. Uncle Ricky adopted me out to humom Alex and hudad Matthew, and I was transported to my new home in Newhall, CA. There I joined siblings Naomi and Bear (dogs), Toast and Jam (cats), and other numerous feathered and furry creatures, mostly parrots and chinchillas. July, 1984 Met Doug and Debby Henning and show dancers... re-named "Minky" (bummer). Training, rehearsals and tuxedo fittings for Doug Henning's "World of Magic" live stage show through August...

September, 1984 My first appearance in front of an audience in the magic show at (the Ahmanson?) in Los Angeles. I was a smash... as I recall I was even mentioned in the reviews. Later in month left for San Francisco, the second stop of an 8 (?) city tour across the country...

October 1984 while in _____ on tour with show, grooming became the all important GROOMING... I was 10 months old
